Additionally, it is possible to publish over XMPP with platforms such as Movim.

I was offering XMPP, because itcan function as both, chat and publishing platform.
I suppose, that when ActivityPub would, finally, be seen as a cheap imitation of Atom Over XMPP (Atomsub); then, the administrators might consider XMPP as a viable mean of collective publishing platform, and chat.
