Yeah I was thinking something similar; between Matrix, IRC, BBS, etc. it seems like more ways to communicate than need for communication. On the other hand I like that Envs is a good place to learn about new things, and I had been thinking recently that I should learn how to use mailing lists better. So here's my first ever message on a mailing list!
